Low Carb Stool New Diet = Blood In Stool. Please Help?

New Diet = Blood in stool. Please Help? - low carb stool

I started a diet rich in protein low carb for about a month to build muscles. After a few weeks I've started to notice a little blood in the stool, when I use the toilet. My diet consists of grilled chicken, steak, fish, Protien shakes, protein, fruits, vegetables, milk, cheese, snacks low in fat and sugar. For most of my life, I was very healthy and the first time that it never happened. Does anyone have any information please let me know.
thanx

I had exactly the same thing happened to me when I looked at ultra-low-carbohydrate diet. I am a doctor and took me to see whether polyps, colon cancer, etc.

His final decision was that I was no longer enough fiber in my diet. So, now I am resolved to a diet with low glycemic index with brown beans and rice, and the problem appears.

Foods low glycemic index are digested slowly and do not spike your blood sugar, especially if the effect is very similar to the diet a diet low in carbohydrates. Try and see if that solves your problem.

Why do you think that diet has nothing to do with it? I make no sugar from your diet, which should strengthen the blood in the stool. However, blood in the stool is a good thing. This requires the attention of your doctor. For information on diet with low carbohydrate content http://lowcarbdiets.about.com recommend this site does not need to fear the scheme, if you do something wrong.
